The mission of MABA is to promote behavior analysis within the State of Maryland and its surrounding region through the advancement of basic and applied research, service, and training. MABA workshops and conference is geared toward behavior analysts and psychologists.
MABA offers bundled BACB continuing education credits (CEUs) for all qualifying workshops and conference for a discounted rate. APA CEUs are available at a separate cost.
MABA is an approved continuing education Learning Objectives (formerly known as Type 2 CEUs) for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). BACB requires that CE events have content that is behavior analytic in nature. MABA maintains responsibility for the program and its content. Events designated as “BACB” are approved for BACB CEUs. Learning Objectives for approved talks are posted.
Per the BACB, all continuing education must occur within the certification cycle to which it is applied. CEUs in excess of the requirements cannot be applied to a later cycle, and “making up” missed CEUs after the certification date is not permitted. CEUs must be provided within 45 days of the BACB event. No exceptions will be made after 1/18/24.
